About Shobha Choudhary –
Shobha is a well known classical vocalist presently residing in Indore, MP. She is one of the few performers who present Gwalior Gharana, Agra Gharana and Kirana Gharana with a great elegance. Shobha has immensely elaborated the technique of developing Ragas. Thumri, Dadra, Tappa and Bhajans in her performances styles leave the audience fascinated.
She has been blessed by three maestros of Hindustani Classical Music: Pt. Vamanrao Rajurkar, Pt. C. R. Vyas and Pt. Balasaheb Puchhwale. Her performance style reflects the approach of these celebrated Hindustani Classical geniuses.
She has been invited in several prestigious concerts organized by various famous institutes like International Center for Performing Arts, Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal, National Center for Performing Arts, Mumbai, Ut. Allahadiyan Khan Sangeet Samaroh, Delhi, Ut. Rehmat Khan Sangeet Samaroh, Kolhapur, Ut. Aamir Khan Sangeet Samaroh, Indore and Madhya Pradesh Sangeet Samaroh, Jabalpur to name a few.
