Annadanam/Naivedyam Program 

NAIVEDYAM PROGRAM DURING REGULAR WEEKENDS (NON FESTIVAL)

• Two families adopt a Saturday and two families adopt a Sunday Annadanam – One family makes Dhal or Sambhar for 30-35 people and the second family makes a curry/sabji for 30-35 people – no onions or garlic.   They cook it at their home and deliver it to the Sanctum no later than 11 AM.  The priests will offer this to the Gods as Naivedya and then serve it as Prasad to the devotees after  after Arati (around 12:30).  It is served downstairs with rice and yogurt that the priests will have made. The Annadathas will have their family information used for abhisheka sankalpas done by the Priests. It is likely that the families are observing or celebrating their own sacraments.  
• There will be no per plate money charged; people can donate whatever they wish.  We will have a donation box and the credit card machine will be there to facilitate any donation.

To signup, we suggest that organizations or groups of friends and families consult one of our coordinators (Sangamesh Sonth 225-572-1248 or Ratna Babu 309-208-3788 or Madhuri Garimidi 309-229-1087). Several recipes and the associated process have been developed meticulously over the years. This makes even novices to cook like professionals! 

If you are interested in supporting this program monetarily, you can donate $150 towards the food ingredients. You can do that by talking to one of our Priests. Sankalpas will be done in the names provided. Otherwise, the program is a fundraiser with a per plate charge prescribed by the adopting groups. 

When you are ready to signup, you can use the signup sheet below, which operates just like an Excel spreadsheet. Here are the instructions:
