Daycare

We are delighted to inform that HTCI facility and its kitchen were scrutinized and certified by Peoria Health Department and Illinois State Fire Marshal. While the Temple was built to meet the codes, many improvements were made in the recent months to comply. These certifications are important steps toward launching a Temple Day Care Center. Maintaining certifications will help enforce the discipline necessary to maintain safety standards in our operations. 

One of the other requirements to start the Day Care Center is to build a fenced outdoor Children Playground; this should happen this summer. 

Once approved by DCFS (Department of Children and Family Services) and launched, we expect to recruit initially up to 20 children, in the 3 to 5 years age group. At this enrollment, we expect to have 3 instructors and one cook on board. . We solicit response from those interested in instructor positions. The credentials should include minimum 60 college semester hours from an accredited college (with Indian college courses, you need to seek US equivalency) and six hours of early childhood education (courses such as Child 110 and Child 120 offered in Peoria by Illinois Central College). ICC offers both Child 110 and Child 120 this summer. 

We have fielded interest from several parents in the Temple Day Care Center. We would, however, appreciate a formal response to this email by interested parents.
