Deva Gokulam

A Temple based Balavihar Program that engages our Temple and your Children to provide Hindu Vedic Learning

A divine experience for our children as they grow up. They not only learn Hindu heritage, they develop self-esteem, interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

Experienced faculty (includes selected parents and our Priests) teaching four 30 min modules: 1. Home Room Bhajans, storytelling and discussions, 2. Arts and Crafts and Yoga, 3. Puja and Prayers and shlokas 4 Sanctum Choir singing, pooja and aarati.

Integrated into the Temple programs; tied to the major festivals from Krishna Janmastami, Ganesha festival, Navaratri, Deepavali, Vaikunta Ekadashi, Shivaratri, Holi, Ugadi, Rama Navami, Acharya Jayanthi, Mothers’ Day and Brahmotsava

Hindu Temple of Central Illinois Provides the setting: The Sanctum, the prayer hall, Sanctum auditorium, six class rooms, performance stage auditorium/dining hall all under one roof with a peaceful Ashram like setting and an outdoor Yagashala make this facility one of a kind.
