Only Temple sourced clay Ganeshas are accepted for Temple poojas, Rathotsava and visarjan. Store bought Ganeshas are unlikely to dissolve on immersion and hence deemed not good for the environment.

3. Ganesha Mahaladdu transforms to

Naivedya Laddu for everyone’s liking

For several years now, volunteers have prepared one mega Laddu and served the Laddu after Sunday’s Rathotsava to all those present to raise funds for Temple’s Vision 2020 projects. This year, this blessed Laddu will be made available to all as Naivedya Laddu (family size) during the five day Ganesha festival (Sept 16-20). We have fixed the price at $51 so everyone should be able to contribute to Temple’s Vision 2020 projects and be blessed.

We still call on bigger donors to contribute at higher levels (Bronze: $101, Silver: $251, Gold: $501 and Platinum: $1001- these donors will receive 2, 5, 10 & 20 Naivedya Laddus respectively).

You can make your selection online or by filling out a sankalpa card at the Temple.

There is Samoohika Vinayaka Pooja planned at 9:30 AM on Sunday, Sept 20 (see the program below). The charge for participation is $51 and this includes one Naivedya Laddu. Again we suggest you reserve your seat by online registration.

Naivedya Laddus will be available immediately after they are blessed during Sept 16, Ganesha Chathurthi Poojas. They will be available throughout the five day period and are expected to last through the end of the festival finale, Ganesha Rathotsava. Suggest that you reserve your Naivedya Laddu online.

Much work goes into celebrating Ganesha festival. We call on volunteers to help with decorations and making Sahasra Modhakas and Naivedya Laddus on Sept 13 (Sunday) starting at 12:30 PM.
