Temple's Vedic Preschool will launch this Fall if there is enough interest

Temple's Board of Volunteers has unanimously decided to pursue the launching of a Vedic Preschool in the 2019 Calendar year. This school when fully established will be accredited by the State of Illinois. The preschool curriculum will be based on State's educational requirements as well as Hindu Vedic teachings, yoga/meditation and Vedic chanting. The Temple facilities including its many class rooms provide an ideal venue for this program as much of it is available during the week. We are establishing children's playroom indoors and outdoors in addition to properly furnishing the classrooms. The food provided out of Temple's kitchen will be vegetarian. Much positive experience/inspiration has resulted from teaching Deva Gokulam's Ganesha (3 & 4 Year old) children every Sunday. Much benchmarking has been done visiting many franchised and church based preschools in the area. The completion of Temple's infrastructure, and Temple's Mahadwara addition has created a very desirable facility and ambience for this venture. The charges/fees are yet to be determined but are expected to be competitive and discounted for Temple community. We need at least ten enrollments to make this a worthwhile venture. Please register by July 31 so we can decide. We think that teachers and parents are the key to making this Vedic Preschool a great beginning for the young minds.
