Call for Pre-registering Music/Dance Items

Temple's religious events provide a great opportunity for devotees to present devotional music and dance items. The dance items will be invariably in groups in classical or folk devotional on Temple's professional stage (Saturday, Sept 7 Cultural Program:6:30 to 8 PM).  The music items can either be solo or in groups, again classical, semi-classical devotional sung, including lead and follow Bhajans in Temple's Sanctum as a fill in during the course of various Poojas (Sept 12-16). Any item presented, both music and dance is limited to a maximum of 5 minutes.   

The items pre-registered will be screened to ensure that these guidelines are met and the items are of the quality to engage the audience. 

This call for pre-registration is imminent as we ready ourselves for Ganesha Festival, Sept 2-8. 

While the music recital is scheduled at the various times to fit with the Sanctum religious events, the dance events are exclusively scheduled on Saturday (Sept 7) evening event, 6:30 PM to 8 PM.  The invocation and mangalam recitals on the stage can be music in groups.  

Please note that we are encouraging participation by both adults and children to attract the best talent and make this a memorable event for all participating.
