Our Ganeshas come from clay and return to clay
Only Temple sourced clay Ganeshas are accepted for Temple poojas and visarjan. Store bought Ganeshas are unlikely to dissolve on immersion and hence deemed not good for the environment.
A 5 foot Ganesha made of paper mesh will take center stage during the festival.

There is Samoohika Vinayaka Pooja planned at 7PM on Friday, Aug 21 (Ganesha Chathurthi evening). The charge for participation is $51 and this includes one Naivedya Laddu. Again we suggest you reserve your seat by online registration.
Much work goes into celebrating Ganesha festival. We call on volunteers to help with decorations and making Modhakas and Naivedya Laddus.
